Craig started playing saxophone at the age of 11 through his schools music program. He quickly found that music would grow to be his life long passion. Craig started composing at the early age of 13 and even found him self performing in his middle school’s lunchtime concerts. During his high school years he discovered the art of Jazz and it catapulted him into a deeper passion and appreciation for music. He performed on the radio through KKJZ in a contest that he and his band members, at the time, won. He also opened up the 2006 Long Beach Jazz Festival with the “Christian Hernandez Quintet”. Since High School, Craig has attended Saddleback College and the prestigious Jazz program at California State University of Northridge. He recently received his Bachelors of Music degree from Northridge.
